Ok here is the thing, Quiziwiki is 80% done but I lack the motivation on finishing the 20% needed to be a fully completed product.

So here is a home made market survey to see if there is really a interest on the android community to see this application should be completed.

I would like to be the application free for contributor (aka human that put nice questions in the db) and sold for a dirt cheap price for the one that don’t want to bother writing questions.

Seem fair to me…

I’m a bit surprise that no blog speak about the “purge” android market juste made on the developer market console, Dildroid was near 100k download and now is back the the old days with only 2000k. The only bright side is that the early prude 1 star have also been flushed and we are near 5 big shinny starts!

But the main reason of this article is more about the Omnidar review. We just lost all the review that the hum… 3 users made it’s a bit sad, so this is a pledge for a call to action. If you downloaded the  application go ahead publish a review of it to help other droid user to know what’s the quality of the product.

We are not alone according to this post on the google help forum…

Hi there, random readers. It’s been quite a slow month for the mobile development of our in house products. All our energy are now focused on private contracts which quite frankly are more profitable than selling a dozen of 0.99 cents application… But don’t despair, for the holidays Mobidroid will try to find some time to create a new mobile innova-fun product. The idea is great and doable and we sure it’s going to be a great success but we just don’t have the time to make it….

In the mean time we would like to cheers our Russian friends that are still using the Omnidar ADC2 edition, sadly the application will auto-scuicide itself the 01/11/2009. Yeah our paranoid security expert thought it would be cool to include a expiration mechanism that lock the trial when the ADC2 was finish… The problem is that the ADC2 date wasnt verry clear and we tought since we would be able to upload a new apk, but nope… I guess everyone will see our nice little TRIAL EXPIRED popup on round 2 (if we are there of course)… Oh and dont even think about changing the date of your phone… The application make a “reality check” and will see your little trick and using lots of sarcasm will congratulated you on the attempt…

So we are officially think that we are GAME OVER for the ADC2, unless we can submit a new apk… (we will make the effort of asking Mr. Google at least)

Apple finally accepted our Omnidar application! You can find it on iTune rigth now! And what about the google phone version?

Well some UFO kidnapped our development phone, so we needed to purchase a other one which drove out development a bit down… (yeah the emulator is real nice but for sensors dev it’s a real pain). Now that we figured out how to make the Samsung Galaxy i7500 work with ABD we can finish the product (which was already 90% finished but just not ready for production)

Don’t despair it will be available soon!

Dear mobidroid, are you dead?

Nooooo of course not, it’s just summer time, and here in France summer time means the world stop. Anyway our application is still pending review at Apple, they are not in France but the pending system work like it was. Come back in a week we will put new stuff so you can enjoy life in color again.

Oh and it’s seem pretty trendy to use Twitter to spam about our company should we join the buzz ? Hey let’s make a pool out of it.

Good news for the apple users, the revolutionary (and maybe Nobel winning)  Omnidar will be available also for the iPhone 3Gs platform. We just kidnapped a iPhone developer  and we will release him only if he manage porting the Omnidar for the 3Gs phone.  Since we now know the 3Gs is equipped with the necessary sensors.  Nothing stop us  from  unleashing the unlimited potential of the Omnidar on both platform!

So stay tune we are working hard to release both it on both platform (Android & iPhone)   for this sunday 21 june 2009 18h00 (GMT+1) when it’s going to be finished.
